Four die in car-bus collision in Mansehra

In a separate incident, a trader was shot dead by unidentified man

At least four members of a family, belonging to Chakesar area of Shangla district, died when the car they were travelling in, was hit by a bus on Hazara Motorway.

Police said the family from Shangla was going to Abbottabad when their car collided with a bus near Hazara University in Hathi Mera area.

The deceased were identified as Sajid Ali, Afsar Din, Umar Sadiq. The bodies were shifted to King Abdullah Hospital in Mansehra.

On the same day, an unidentified man shot and killed a 38-year-old trader in Phakwal village and managed to escape from the scene.

According to the police, Naseer, a resident of Phakwal, was killed by an unknown person. The body of Naseer was shifted to King Abdullah Hospital in Mansehra for completing medico-legal formalities.

Later, the body was handed over to his family.

The father of the deceased registered an FIR against Muhammad Irfan, who is a resident of Major Ayub Road in Phakwal. The police initiated an investigation after registering the FIR.
