Skill Development: Training for 680 flood-affected

Residents will be trained for hospitality and construction sector jobs

LAHORE: As many as 680 residents of six model villages in flood affected areas of Muzafargarh will be trained for hospitality and construction sector jobs under an initiative of the Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF). The Fund has signed agreements with the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) and the Technical Upgradation and Skills Development Centre (TUSDEC) in this regard. The (CTHM) will conduct training sessions in cooking and hotel management and the Tusdec in masonry and plumbing. The PSDF has been set up by the provincial government in collaboration with the Department for International Development, United Kingdom.
