Indonesia invites Pakistani businesses to 38th Trade Expo

Three-day visa processing time is being ensured for the expo visitors which will continue for five days

HYDRABAD:

Indonesia Consul General at Karachi, Dr June Kuncoro Hadiningrat has invited Hyderabad business community to attend 38th Trade Expo Indonesia which will start in his country from October 18.

Speaking at Hyderabad Chamber of Small Traders and Small Industry (HCSTSI) on Tuesday, the diplomat assured that a three-day visa processing time is being ensured for the expo visitors which will continue for five days. According to him, seven prominent products of Indonesia, including food and beverage; home living, digital services, beauty and personal care, chemical, energy and industrial products; medical equipment and healthcare; fashion and textile accessories, would be put on display on the occasion.

He expressed hope that the expo would boost trade, tourism and investment between the businessmen of Pakistan and Indonesia.

Hadiningrat noted that with the bilateral trade agreement between the two countries, Indonesia has exported goods worth more than $4 billion to Pakistan since 2021. Present on the occasion, HCSTSI President Muhammad Farooq Shaikhani pointed out that Pakistan's export to Indonesia is only $180 million.
