Actor Maya Ali has taken to Instagram to bid her latest offering, Yunhi, a heartfelt farewell. The actor, while sharing a carousel of pictures from the drama, penned a note for the cast and crew of the recent project.
"From coming soon to the last episode, what a beautiful journey it was," Maya shared. "Thank you all for the love and the constructive criticism too, we all need it at some point to know what other’s perspective is. I am so glad and blessed that I am a part of this journey and the family of Yunhi."
She furthered, "We lived with all these characters for a long time and enjoyed every bit of it. I am glad I have made another family and memories which I’ll be cherishing forever. Thank you, Ehtesham bhai for believing in me and Kim and giving me a lifetime of advice to become a better version of myself."
Speaking about her co-star, Bilal Ashraf, Maya shared, "Thank you Bilal, for your patience, and for bringing homemade food for me when I was away from home. Also thank you on behalf of the whole team for looking after everyone’s basic necessities. Hats off to you, superstar."
Maya then thanked the rest of the cast and shared," Thank you, sir Behroze, for your love all the time on the set and we still share this bond, Alhamdulillah. Thank you, Tazeen, Maha, my lovely Tahira Appa, sir Manzoor, my lovely friend, Kukki Jee, Khaqan, my handsome dad Deepak, Uzma Jee, Saad, Laiba and the whole cast and each member of the set, everyone gave the utmost respect and love to each other." She concluded, "I hope this will be life-changing for even one person. Our ways part now, but hopefully we'll meet soon - Yunhi."
Bilal commented on Maya's post and wrote, "Thank you for all the Urdu lessons, Maya. Will surely miss the entire team. Until next time, we'll meet again - Yunhi."
Maya had previously sung praises of the Superstar actor in an Instagram Q&A. "How was your experience working with Bilal Ashraf?" asked a fan, curious about Maya's new Yunhi co-star, Bilal. "He is an amazing individual. I thoroughly enjoyed working with him and learned a lot from him during our journey on set!" the actor shared.
"Why Yunhi? What did you like most about its script?" asked another. "It’s concept and storyline drove me to accept it. It can bring a change in our society," Maya had responded.
