Missing child returns home after two days

A teenager, who had been missing for two days has safely returned to his home, on Saturday.

Reportedly, the young boy, Kamlesh Meghwar, a 7th-grade student, had disappeared from the village of Burd Farm on Friday afternoon.

On Saturday, the child ended up at a mobile shop in Kunri and sought help to return home.

In a media interaction, Kamlesh revealed that he had left home briefly to buy snacks when four suspects abducted him in their car and took him to Mirpurkhas.

He told police that the alleged kidnappers stopped for breakfast in Mirpurkhas the next morning. Kamlesh found an opportunity to escape. He then boarded a passenger coach and reached his city Kunri.

The news of the missing child had circulated widely on social networking platforms including Facebook and WhatsApp, along with his photograph.

Upon recognising the child, the mobile shop owner contacted his parents who went to the shop and took their child home.
