Whilst in a candid conversation with Vasay Chaudhry on Gup Shab, Pakistani actor and producer Fahad Mustafa opened up about his concerns regarding the influence of YouTubers and bloggers on the entertainment industry. Fahad didn't mince his words, expressing his belief that stars are now scared to give interviews wholeheartedly.

During the conversation, Fahad shared his perspective on interviews and the role of YouTubers and bloggers in the entertainment field. He pointed out that, in his opinion, celebrities now exercise great caution when giving interviews, as some content creators tend to focus on sensationalising and misrepresenting their statements to generate content for their platforms.

Fahad stated, "I think that interviews should not be given. It's not about whoever is taking the interview, even their intention is not such. There are many YouTubers, bloggers - because it is their work that they need content - they, like a parasite, monitor everything, thinking about what they should pick and choose." He continued to add, "Because this is what sells for the poor souls."

The star then said, "If I say something good, how will it affect them? If I say something twisted, they'll add a strange headline and run it. This is their thing." He went on to express his concerns that this approach has resulted in a detrimental impact on the entertainment industry. Fahad further highlighted, "I think about six to seven such people due to whom the industry has been polluted, things are quite bad."

With his final nail in the coffin, Fahad shared, "Your actors are scared, your people don't want to say anything. I don't think this is a healthy environment. You have become, in the name of tolerance, quite intolerant yourself."

Fahad's comments have sparked discussions within the entertainment industry and among fans, highlighting the ongoing debate over the role of social media influencers, YouTubers, and bloggers in shaping public perceptions and impacting the careers of celebrities.

As the entertainment industry continues to evolve and adapt to the digital age, conversations like the one initiated by Fahad shed light on the challenges and complexities that come with the growing influence of online content creators. The debate over maintaining a healthy and transparent environment for artists and public figures remains an ongoing and important one.
