An impressive car rally was recently organised in the metropolitan city to raise awareness on men's mental health and prostate cancer. Over 150 vintage cars from the year 1930 to 1979 took part in the rally, capturing the fascination of Karachiites.
The event, known as 'Karachi Distinguished Gentleman Drive,' revved off at Bilawal Chowrangi in Clifton which attracted participants of all ages, including men and women. Its primary aim was to promote awareness on cancer prevention and treatment options.
Faisal Malik, the event's organiser, said that the rally has become an annual feature as it has been organised without fail for the past three years. Similar rallies are held in nearly 200 cities worldwide, and Karachi's edition ranks as the fourth-largest globally.
Notably, the rally featured several rare vintage cars, some of which have earned prestigious awards in various countries. Families came out in full support, attending the event with enthusiasm.
People expressed their appreciation for the rally, recognising the positive impact such activities could have on community health and well-being.
