Attock police solve four murder cases

Apprehend five suspects, recover weapons used in crimes

The Attock police have successfully resolved four murder cases and apprehended five suspects associated with these heinous crimes. According to a spokesperson for the police, the authorities have underscored their commitment to conducting thorough investigations and ensuring that justice is served.

He said the first case involved the tragic killing of a 22-year-old youth named Gulfam Hussain, son of Fareed Hussain, a resident of Maher Pur Mohallah in Attock West. Gulfam Hussain was riding his motorcycle when he fell victim to an unidentified assailant's gunfire near Dr Khalid Saeed Hospital, within the jurisdiction of the Model police station. The incident had already been registered with the local police.

The police after an investigation managed to apprehend two suspects.

In the second incident, the police arrested a suspect named Mehboob, a resident of Mohalla Sadqal Domeel. The spokesperson said the suspect had brutally axed his niece to death. The authorities not only arrested Mehboob but also retrieved the murder weapon, which had been used in this gruesome act.

The third case involved the arrest of what the police said ‘a habitual criminal’, identified as Zeeshan Ali who had shot and killed a man over an ongoing dispute. The police successfully seized the weapon used in the murder and initiated an investigation after registering a case.

Meanwhile, Fateh Jang police arrested a man identified as Ahmed Khan who had fatally shot his own brother. A case was registered against him.
