SC reshuffles administrative staff

The Supreme Court on Friday announced a significant reshuffle in its administrative staff, repatriating several officials, who were working in the apex court on deputation, to their parent departments and assigning the charge of additional registrar administration to Deputy Registrar Sher Afgan.

According to a notification issued after the approval from Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, a district and sessions judge (Grade 21), Amer Saleem Rana, serving as the additional registrar on deputation in the apex court had been repatriated to the Lahore High Court (LHC), his parent department.

Similarly, Muhammad Owais, a senior civil judge-cum-magistrate (Grade 19), who had assumed the role of deputy registrar on deputation, had been sent to the LHC, while, Munawar Ali, also a senior civil judge (Grade 19), who had been discharging his duties as the deputy registrar on deputation, had been sent back the Sindh High Court.

Also, according to the notification, Muhammad Akram Soomro, a senior auditor (Grade 17), serving as assistant accounts officer on deputation would return to his parent department, the Accountant General of Pakistan.
