Nine terrorists killed in three K-P IBOs
The security forces on Thursday killed nine terrorists and apprehended five others, including their facilitators, in separate intelligence based operations conducted in three districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said an intense fire exchange took place between the army troops and terrorists during the conduct of the first operation in general area Jani Khel of Bannu district.
As many as six terrorists were sent to hell while five were apprehended during the operation.
“These terrorists were involved in numerous terrorist activities against the security forces, including the facilitation of the motorcycle borne suicide attack on a military convoy at Jani Khel on Aug 31, in which nine brave sons of the soil laid their lives,” the military’s media wing said.

In another operation in the general area of Datta Khel, North Waziristan district, two terrorists were sent to hell in a fierce encounter between the security forces and terrorists.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, whereas sanitisation of the surrounding areas was being carried out to neutralise any other terrorists found in the there.
The ISPR said that the locals of the area appreciated the operation, whereas the security forces of the country remained determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism.
In the third operation in the Madi area of Kalachi tehsil, Dera Ismail Khan district; the security forces, Counter Terrorism Department, and the Dera police conducted a joint search operation.
During the operation, unidentified terrorists opened fire at the security forces in which one terrorist was killed in retaliatory fire.

The slain terrorist belonged to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan group.
According to the details, when the terrorists opened firing at the search party, they engaged in defensive retaliatory firing which continued for a long time.
After the firing stopped, the area was searched and the body of a terrorist identified as Ikramullah Sukna Kalachi, the local commander of the TTP Gandapur group, was found. The body of the slain terrorist was shifted to Civil Hospital Kalachi for post-mortem.
The slain terrorist was wanted by the Dera police and CTD in several cases, including terrorism, attacks on police, and kidnapping for ransom.
