Sri Lankan innings featured five ducks, showcasing India’s bowling prowess as their pacers managed to swing the ball both ways. However, the highlight of any Asia Cup has always been the contest between arch-rivals Pakistan and India. Fans on both sides of the divide had been eagerly awaiting this showdown. But the marquee event was marred by unpredictable weather, and constant rain interruptions cast a shadow of despondency over not just the match but the entire Asia Cup, which impacted the quality of play and overall tournament experience.
