KARACHI:

The Judicial Magistrate Malir granted bail to PTI leader Haleem Adil Sheikh in a case registered in the Memon Goth police station. The magistrate, announcing a reserved verdict in the case, ordered the PTI leader to deposit a bond of Rs0.1 million.

The defence lawyer Khalid Mehmood Advocate had stated that it is a civil matter between the plaintiff and Haleem Adil Sheikh. He has nothing to do with the whole matter. There is evidence that the plaintiff of the case was not present at the scene. There are allegations of intimidation against Haleem Adil Sheikh but they do not have eyewitnesses. Therefore, the court is requested to grant bail to Haleem Adil Sheikh.

Later, in an informal conversation, the PTI leader said his morale is high. PTI leaders, workers and supporters are facing cases in in different courts for committing no crime. Chairman PTI is fighting the nation's war. He did not run away like Nawaz Sharif. The party chief lives in the hearts of the nation.

Haleem said that Nawaz Sharif is a convicted criminal. The caretaker government is a remnant of the PDM and is doing everything to facilitate the PDM. The caretaker government has become suspicious after Fawad Hasan Fawad's appointment as minister.

Haleem said, "There is a bandit-rule in Sindh. I have read in the newspapers that the caretaker Sindh cabinet has decided to conduct an operation in kutcha area with the support of army and rangers. Bilawal Zardari has said in a statement that the US weapons have made their way to the hands of kutcha area outlaws. People's Party has ruled in Sindh for 15 years. The government and the police in the province belongs to Zardari and Bilawal. Then how did these weapons reach the Kutcha area?"

Haleem said that police should curb street crimes instead of arresting PTI's innocent people and general public for no crime of theirs.
