RAWALPINDI:

Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Director General Saif Anwar Jappa has said the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has completed the renovations needed to make the civic agency's one-window service for the convenience of citizens operational.

The set up established at the WASA Head Office has undergone renovations as part of the Punjab government's 'Good Governance and Cleanliness Campaign' and is now available to the public, he said.

Director General Saif Anwar Jappa said this during the WASA One-window Center's inspection.

Deputy Managing Director WASA Engineering Salim Ashraf and WASA Administration and Finance Head Aamir Ashfaq Qureshi stated that for the convenience of consumers, information charts about new connection procedures, category changes, name and address changes, non-connection complaints, extra bill corrections, and other billing-related complaints will be addressed at the one window centre.

Additionally, counters have been set up to resolve other complaints.

Customers can also pay their bills at this centre.

Customers may also access clean drinking water amenities in addition to seating arrangements.

It was also said that the deputy director of revenue oversees the one window center and is on-site to address consumer concerns.
