Child protection training held for NMD officers

Five-day training workshop organised by Directorate of Social Welfare for Merged Areas in collaboration with UNICEF

Training has been imparted to the staff of Child Protection Units to equip them with essential skills and knowledge to coordinate and provide child protection services effectively, including addressing the needs of children on the move and Afghan refugees.

The five-day training workshop was organised by the Directorate of Social Welfare for Merged Areas in collaboration with UNICEF for the staff of the newly established Child Protection Units in the newly merged districts (NMDs) and six subdivisions.

Forty participants from the NMDs and other staff, including PMU programme manager, information management officer, child protection officers, social case worker, psychologist of NMDs and K-P Child Protection and Welfare Commission attended the workshop.
