In the pursuit of adherence to regulations, the acquisition of new police vehicles is under scrutiny. Efforts are underway to supply compact cars to police stations, ultimately bolstering swift police responsiveness.

During a meeting chaired by IG Sindh Riffat Mukhtar at the Central Police Office Karachi, the ongoing matters pertaining to the technical and transport aspects of the police department were comprehensively examined. Key briefings were given by DIG T&T, AIG MT, and AIG Telecommunication, addressing issues related to the police vehicle management to the wireless system and workshop operations.

IG Sindh, in a bid to enhance the existing 32 police vehicles, has initiated a committee and emphasised the meticulous supervision of vehicle modification procedures. Furthermore, he stressed the imperative of strictly adhering to rules and regulations in procuring new police vehicles within the allocated budget. AIG Telecommunications has been tasked with devising comprehensive recommendations for necessary wireless sets and walkie-talkies.
