KARACHI:

The Pasban Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed concern about the process of recruitment of primary school teachers in Sindh, suggesting that more teachers have been hired than the officially prescribed numbers. He asserts that this discrepancy indicates potential irregularities where individuals, who may not have passed the required tests and interviews, have secured these positions. Rafiq Khaskheli, the Vice Chairman of PDP said, accusing the Pakistan Peoples Party of perpetuating a system of favouritism and corruption in government jobs throughout Sindh, resulting in a decline in educational standards from primary schools to universities.

According to Khaskheli, the PPP's governance in Sindh has been marred by corruption and mismanagement in every sector, with the education department being a prime example. He claims that the extent of corruption and nepotism in the education sector of Sindh is unparalleled globally.

The PDP has demanded a transparent investigation into these alleged fake recruitments and called for action against those responsible. They also advocate for the removal of corrupt officials and the restoration of hope among the youth of Sindh, particularly in cities like Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Jamshoro, Dadu, and Nowshehro Feroze.
