Caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan, Ali Mardan Domki, has taken a strong stance against the issue of sugar smuggling to neighboring countries through the province. In a statement issued on Friday evening, he expressed grave concern about the rising trend of sugar smuggling and its detrimental impact on both the people and the nation’s economy.

Domki directed all relevant deputy commissioners and concerned departments to take immediate action to halt sugar smuggling activities. He emphasized that this illicit trade imposes an additional burden on the citizens and poses a significant threat to the country’s economic stability.

The Chief Minister issued formal directives to all commissioners, deputy commissioners, and law enforcement agencies to ensure the implementation of robust measures aimed at preventing sugar smuggling. He urged these institutions to collaborate closely and develop a coordinated action plan to curb this illegal activity.

Domki emphasized the need for law enforcement agencies and district administrations to take swift and decisive action.
