STP’s hunger strike enters third day

BADIN:

The hunger strike by Sindh Progressive Party (Taraqqi Pasand Party) against the prevalence of unrest and drug trade in Badin district has entered its third day.

The activists of Taraqqi Pasand Party (STP) are staging a continuous hunger strike outside the Badin Press Club, led by Divisional President Shahnawaz Sial, Ghulam Qadir Moradani, Qasim Halipoto, and Irshad Nahrio.

STP's Division President, Shahnawaz Sial, pointed out the rise in crimes, thefts, and drug sales, blaming the police for being inactive and failing to ensure citizens' safety.

The protesters accused the Badin Police of allegedly supporting criminals and drug dealers, resulting in deteriorating city conditions.

The STP attributing the police's failure to political interference and corruption.
