Body of young man found under debris after 26 hours

KARACHI:

The body of a young man, who tragically lost his life in a gas explosion within a sewage drain near Lasbela Chowk, has been recovered after a search of 26 hours.

The deceased, Areeb, an employee of a private courier company, had left his workplace to assist a customer with change, a mere two shops away from his workplace. Tragically, the explosion occurred, as a result he fell into the drain and went missing.

Despite the audible noise and concern expressed by witnesses regarding his disappearance at the scene.

Witnesses noticed the absence of the young man, prompting rescue authorities to initiate a search operation. Regrettably, no trace of him could be found on the same day.

Areeb was the resident of Pak Colony, in Old Golimar and was the sole brother of three younger sisters.
