Pakistan Rangers and Police in a joint operation arrested two suspected robbers, Ahsanullah and Zahir Shah, involved in high-profile robbery incidents in Orangi Town.
According to the police, on August 21, the suspects along with their two accomplices snatched Rs8 million from a cashier of a petrol station near UBL Bank in Orangi Town.
The CCTV footage of the incident also went viral on social media in which the accused could be easily identified. The police said that both the accused had confessed before about their involvement in more than 150 robbery incidents and looted more than 30 million.
Stolen mobile phones and a motorcycle were recovered from the arrested accused, they added. The suspects were handed over to interrogation officers for further legal action.
