Pop sensation faces infidelity accusations by her husband

Popular American singer Britney Spears married actor and fitness expert Sam Asghari in a beautiful ceremony at their Thousand Oaks home in Los Angles last June of 2022. However, it seems that the couple is set to part ways soon, given Asghari’s decision to file for divorce just 14 months after their wedding.

The couple had previously been dating for five years after meeting on the set of her Slumber Party music video where Sam played the love interest. During the battle to end her conservatorship, Spears expressed her desire to marry and have children. Although an engaged couple by 2021, Britney and Sam were not allowed to marry under the laws of her conservatorship that dictated all financial and personal decisions were to be taken by her conservators, one of whom was her father, Jamie Spears.

In what was a romance full of hardship, the couple is now set to divorce after what TMZ reports was a falling out over the pop superstar allegedly cheating on her husband. Having separated in July of 2023, the fitness mogul has now reportedly filed for an official divorce with a desire for spousal support and attorney fees.

It seems as though the Toxic singer has hired a team of Hollywood lawyers, Laura Wasser and Mathew Rosengart – her long-time attorney who was responsible for helping her leave her conservatorship. However, while Britney has chosen to not issue any sort of public statement as of yet, her Instagram saw a rather sunny picture of the singer looking into getting a pet horse. Asghari has also not made a public comment and neither have any of their representatives.

As reported by Variety, she pledged to a judge in 2021 saying, “I would like to progressively move forward and I want to have the real deal; I want to be able to get married and have a baby. I was told right now in the conservatorship, I’m not able to get married or have a baby.”

The Iranian-American model proved to be a significant support during his wife’s legal battle, even sporting a "Free Britney" T-shirt before a critical hearing in her court case. The couple also announced the news of a pregnancy during their engagement but later revealed that the starlet had unfortunately miscarried.
