The online lending scam that claimed the life of a father of three has taken an interesting turn as four Chinese citizens have been charged with fraud. These individuals are accused of operating online lending apps through social media platforms, offering loans with excessive interest rates. In response to being named as accused, the four Chinese citizens have obtained interim bail from the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Syed Muhammad Ilyas.
The Chinese nationals appeared before the court for the hearing. The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing conducted the investigation, and summon notices were issued to the suspects. Among them, three Pakistani citizens were listed as additional defendants, including two females.
