KARACHI:

Several students sustained injuries following a clash between two student groups at the University of Karachi and City College.

Reportedly, five students were hurt during a confrontation between these organisations at Karachi University. The altercation, stemming from a dispute over seating at a location on campus, escalated into a violent exchange of stones, kicks, punches, and sticks. The Rangers took swift action to quell the situation, and the injured students were taken to Jinnah Hospital for treatment before being discharged.

In a separate incident at the University of Karachi, a group of students was accused of vandalising Shah Abdul Latif Bhitai's couplets on walls within the university premises. Furthermore, the clashes extended to City College in Karachi, where both student groups engaged in stone-throwing and physical altercations using chairs, sticks, kicks, and punches.
