Seven new MHUs to be deployed at remote areas throughout Sindh

Minister of Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sindh Sharjeel Inam Memon on Wednesday inaugurated seven Mobile Healthcare Units (MHUs) at the National Stadium for deployment at the far-flung areas of the province.

He said that the government has already provided 26 MHUs setup in Hino trucks to the health department and seven more units are being provided today.

The minister said that so far MHUs have been activated in 18 remote districts of Sindh, male and female doctors, nurses, X-ray technicians, ECG technicians, lab technicians, modern medical equipment and medicines are available in each unit.

Sharjeel said there is no example of the revolutionary initiatives of the Sindh government in the health sector. MHU is a facet of the modern face of Pakistan.
