Kiln worker commits suicide

KASUR:

An incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Sarai Mughal police station, where a 35-year-old kiln worker took his own life by hanging himself with a ceiling fan.

Irfan, who had been grappling with domestic disputes, returned home from work last evening and retreated to his room, where he allegedly ended his life by tying a rope to the ceiling and placing the noose around his neck.

Upon learning of the event, the kiln owner alerted the police helpline 15, informing them about the laborer's suicide.

The local police arrived at the scene, took possession of the deceased's body, and initiated the necessary legal proceedings.

While the preliminary police report indicates suicide as the cause of death, the exact circumstances surrounding the incident will be ascertained following the post-mortem examination.
