KARACHI:

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentary Leader in the Sindh Assembly, Khurrum Sher Zaman, has been appointed as PTI Karachi President by Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday, marking an important leadership change.

With his second full term as a Member of the Sindh Assembly from Karachi, Sher Zaman assumes the role of PTI Karachi president amidst a climate of political victimisation by both the PDM Government at the center and the PPP Government in Sindh, a PTI statement said.

Expressing his gratitude to PTI chairman for entrusting him with the responsibility of PTI Karachi President Sher Zaman pledges his unwavering loyalty to the party’s vision and ideology.

He commits to strengthening the organization in Karachi and ensuring the victory of all PTI candidates in the next general election. In addition to forming a robust cabinet, Sher Zaman identifies his key priorities as the release of incarcerated PTI workers and representatives, as well as reconnecting with the people of Karachi to promote the vision of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in building Pakistan into an Islamic and progressive welfare state.
