The Paposh Nagar police investigators have apprehended the prime suspect behind the tragic shooting incident that claimed the life of young Muhammad Faizan. The arrest of Wasim Baig, who allegedly shot Faizan during a heated dispute 12 days ago, marks a significant breakthrough in the case. Alongside the arrest, the murder weapon was recovered based on the suspect's identification.
The deadly shooting happened in the Pahlwanji General Store, nestled near the Khyber Masjid area of Nazimabad, within the jurisdiction of Paposh Nagar police station.
On the night of July 18, a disagreement between shopkeeper Wasim Baig and the 18-year-old Faizan escalated tragically. In a shocking turn of events, the accused reportedly shot and injured Faizan during the altercation, and the young man succumbed to his injuries three days later.
The police launched an intensive investigation, unveiling critical evidence that unraveled the sequence of events leading to the fatal shooting. The shocking video footage captured during the confrontation and the CCTV recording of the injured Faizan being carried away further deepened the gravity of the situation.
