Airlines directed to verify polio cards of passengers
In response to government directives, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has instructed airlines to check the polio vaccination cards of passengers travelling abroad.
As per the new travel regulations, NADRA has imposed a travel ban on passengers without valid polio vaccination cards.

To comply with the latest guidelines, NADRA authorities have issued instructions to airports nationwide, including Karachi, to verify the polio cards of outbound passengers.
The passengers intending to travel abroad must ensure they carry their updated online polio vaccination cards, as the old polio cards issued by NADRA have now expired.
Obtaining the updated online polio card has become mandatory for all travellers to meet the current requirements.
