Dagai Babaji’s grandson meets Afghan foreign minister in Kabul

In a significant gathering of esteemed religious figures, Maulana Muhammad Muneeb Dajvi, the grandson of the renowned Pakistani Islamic scholar and politician, Hazrat Maulana Hamdullah Jan Dagai Babaji, met with the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Maulana Amir Muhammad Khan Muttaqi, in Kabul on Tuesday.

The meeting was attended by Hazrat Sheikh's Khadim-e-Khas, Muhammad Liaqat, and his disciple of Al-Qur'an and Hadith, Hazrat Maulana Abdul Haq Mazhari. This congregation of influential religious personalities marked a momentous occasion for fostering ties between the two neighbouring Islamic countries.

During the meeting, Afghan Foreign Minister Maulana Amir Muhammad Khan Muttaqi engaged in a detailed conversation on the phone with Sheikh of the Qur'an and Hadith, Hazrat Maulana Hamdullah Jan Dagai Babaji's successor, and Darul Uloom Arabia Mazhar Uloom's Mahtamum Uloom, Ashfaqullah Khan.

Ashfaqullah Khan conveyed messages from the sheikhs, teachers, students, and family members of Hazrat Dagai Babaji of Darul Uloom Arabia Mazhar Uloom, extending well-wishes for the well-being of Maulana Amir Muhammad Khan Muttaqi, his family, and all the dignitaries and officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

Maulana Muttaqi, in his conversation with Ashfaqullah Khan Dajvi, expressed prayers for the elevation of Hazrat Sheikh's status and manifestation of knowledge. He also conveyed warm feelings and sentiments for Hazrat Babaji's family. Maulana Muttaqi acknowledged the profound spiritual connection that millions of devotees, followers, and disciples in Afghanistan share with Hazrat Dagai Babaji, describing it as a matter of pride for all.

However, the Afghan foreign minister also highlighted a unique and special bond that he personally shares with the esteemed scholar. He expressed deep honour in having such a strong spiritual relationship with Hazrat Sheikh, which he believed would endure through generations. He fervently prayed for Allah to elevate the ranks of Hazrat Shaikh and to continue to elevate Darul Uloom Arabiya Mazhar Uloom for the promotion of Quran and Hadith.

Furthermore, Maulana Muttaqi extended his wishes for an enduring bond of love between his family and Babaji's family. The meeting served as a testament to the mutual respect and reverence that exists between the scholars and leaders of the two nations, reinforcing the shared Islamic heritage and spiritual connections.
