Peshawar to be made 'city of flowers'

Emphasizes they would not rely on empty slogans but would take practical steps towards the upliftment of Peshawar

Mayor of Peshawar, Haji Zubair Ali, expressed his disappointment with the PTI government, stating that they had turned Peshawar into ruins over the past nine years. However, he assured the public that the incumbent Metropolitan Government is determined to restore the city’s beauty and make it flourish once again.

The mayor emphasized that they would not rely on empty slogans but would take practical steps towards the upliftment of Peshawar. During a khuli kachehri held at PK-79 Latifabad on Ring Road, Mayor Zubair Ali promised to address the issues of the Latifabad area on a priority basis and alleviate the sense of deprivation felt by its residents. He made it a point to interact directly with the people and familiarize himself with their concerns.

Present at the event were former K-P minister Amanullah Haqqani, Saddique Paracha, and numerous local residents. Maulana Abdul Wali, Chairman Abdullah Jan, Mufti Sirajul Haq, and other community leaders highlighted the problems faced by the area.
