Two persons, Malik Jahangir and Shehbaz Luna, were detained and transferred to Makwana CIA due to their alleged relationship with the accused in the case of killing of four people of a family in Khurrianwala on Eid day over enmity.
The two persons were being interrogated by senior police officers.
However, none of the main suspects could be arrested by Khurrianwala police yet.
Police were conducting raids to arrest the suspects.
Imran, a resident of Chak No. 206/RB which falls under the jurisdiction of Khurrianwala Police Station, along with his brother Amir and his family, had been on their way home from Bahmaniwala after celebrating Eid with his sister when eight suspects, including Shahbaz Ahmed Luna and Bilal alias Balo, allegedly opened indiscriminate fire on their vehicle.
Thirty-six-year-old Amir, 12-year-old Ali Hassan, six-year-old Dua Fatima and seven-year-old Muniza were killed while Imran, Shehzadi, Abdullah and Farkhunda had sustained injuries.
After the case was registered, the police raided various places but the suspects had moved to an unknown location with all their relatives two hours after the incident due to which the police had to face difficulties.
