Young mountaineers, eight-year-old Ayan Shigri and 12-year-old Danish Sadpara, summited 6,400 metres high Khosar Gang Mountain, situated in Shigar to show solidarity with the armed forces.
The young mountaineers displayed the banners of the Pakistan Army and leadership to pay homage to their services.
Being the youngest mountaineers, the children have made world record after summiting the mountain.
There have been many displays of solidarity with armed forces ever since the events of May 9. Many rallies have also been taken out to express their support for the Pakistan Army.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir spent the day of Eidul Azha with army soldiers in Parachinar along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

The prime minister and the army chief offered Eid prayers along with army officers and soldiers and later exchanged Eid greetings. The prime minister praised the Pakistan Army for its high resolve, operational preparedness and professional standards.
The prime minister felicitated the whole nation including the officers and soldiers of armed forces on the occasion of Eid. He reaffirmed the resolve that there would be no place to hide for those who destroyed peace, perpetrated terrorism, or abetted or facilitated acts of terror.
He said that martyrs were the pride and precious asset of Pakistan and its nation and their honour and dignity were above everything else. The prime minister laid a wreath at the monument of the martyrs and offered prayers.
