Fellow criminals manage to flee after snatching motorcycle, rifle

A notorious dacoit met his demise during a police encounter on Sheikhupura Road, while his cohorts managed to evade capture.

The police took custody of the deceased robber’s body and transferred it to Allied Hospital for post-mortem examination, while intensifying efforts to locate the remaining members of the criminal gang.

Authorities have revealed that the slain robber had a significant criminal history, with multiple cases registered against him.

According to police reports, the incident unfolded when a group of six armed robbers forcibly seized a motorcycle bearing the registration number AAP 7299 from an unsuspecting citizen near Chak No. 90 RB in the jurisdiction of Balochni Police Station.

In their escape, the robbers resorted to further criminal acts, snatching a 222-bore rifle from a citizen named Mubashir at Sitara Mill Parko baseline. Undeterred, the criminals swiftly fled the scene.
