Social activist, gynaecologist Dr Shahina Khosa condemned incidents of May 9

Former PTI MPA, social activist and a gynaecologist by profession, Dr Shahina Khosa announced to withdraw from politics and condemned incidents of May 9. She said people involved in vandalism be punish. She also announced this while reading a message on social media.

In the message, she said: “I strongly condemned May 9 incidents. All responsible should be punished.”

“I want to give time to my medical profession as doctor, so I am going to suspend all my active politics,” she said.

Dr Khosa considered as a devoted leader of PTI due to her maturity and dealing with people. The police raided her residence in Faridabad Colony block 18 DG Khan and arrested them. The police also registered case under charges of blocking road, creating law and order situation, chanting slogans against Army and government, attacks on police officials and against Dr Shahina and her husband Najeeb Khosa in which sections 149, 148, 186. 427 and 341 also included.

The police also presented Dr Shahina Khosa and her husband in the court of the Civil Judge Shahid Nadeem. Maher Fida Hussain advocate gives arguments. After the hearing, court discharge the case and order to release both.
