‘Six missing persons in police custody’

The court dismissed the petitions pertaining to the arrest reports and recovery of the missing persons

While submitting an update in the Sindh High Court (SHC) on six missing individuals, police stated on Wednesday that they are currently in custody in connection with criminal cases.

Syed Ahrar has been detained by the Shah Faisal police in connection with two offenses, while Tajdar Ali has been taken into custody by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), as disclosed in the report. Similarly, Danish Soomro, detained by the Hyderabad police, is also in prison. Sikandar Memon has been apprehended by the Memon Goth police, and Fazal Ghani was arrested by the CTD in the Manghopir region. The sixth individual, identified as Ibrahim Ali was arrested in the Sachal area.

The court dismissed the petitions pertaining to the arrest reports and recovery of the missing persons. Instead, the court instructed the families of the individuals to approach the respective courts.
