Bing's AI chatbot upgraded with voice input for desktop users

Limited languages are supported for voice input, including English, French, German, Japanese and Mandarin

Microsoft has updated its Bing AI chatbot with the ability to accept voice input on desktop PCs.

Users can now speak to the chatbot, and the chatbot will also respond to it. The feature was previously available for mobile phones. To use the feature, simply click on the microphone icon in the Bing Chat box and speak. Once the user is done speaking, the chatbot will respond.

For now, very limited languages are supported for voice input, including English, French, German, Japanese and Mandarin. Over time, more languages will be added to the list to target a maximum number of users.

With the help of the new feature, Microsoft has made it easier to talk to an AI chatbot and added a natural touch to the experience.

It s a convenient and natural way to engage with the AI chatbot. Currently the voice input functionality supports a limited number of languages such as English French German Japanese and Mandarin. However Microsoft plans to expand the language support over time to cater to a broader audience. By incorporating voice input Microsoft has made it more user-friendly to interact with their AI chatbot offering a more intuitive and seamless experience. It s an exciting step towards enhancing the capabilities of chatbot technology.
