Naveed Qamar woos foreign investors

Says reforms will create secure, attractive environment

Federal Minister for Commerce Syed Naveed Qamar has emphasised that Pakistan’s government has undertaken significant economic reforms in an effort to enhance ease of doing business and ensure a secure and attractive environment for investors.

He met with representatives of leading investment firms in London on Tuesday and shared the investment potential in various fields of the economy.

The investment companies primarily deal in equity financing, fintech, startups and venture capital funds.

The minister provided an overview of Pakistan’s key investment sectors, including energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, agriculture, IT and financial services.

Qamar underlined the government’s commitment to providing a conducive investment climate and facilitating FDI.
