Weather forecaster or hardcore Swiftie? Twitter in fits after verified account slams Taylor critic

Who had a local weather account defending the American singer on their 2023 bingo card?

In a crossover absolutely no one expected, the official Twitter account of PakWeather.com - as in, the "largest private weather network," just clapped back at a Twitter user who tried to call Taylor Swift mediocre.

Pop Base shared a tweet that stated, "Taylor Swift is now the second richest female musician in American history with a net worth of $740 million, Forbes reports." This prompted a user of the microblogging site to respond saying, "Achieving this as a singer when your singing is mediocre at best is one of the clearest, most prime examples of white privilege ever and that is just undeniable." That's all one employee at PakWeather.com needed, apparently.

Detailing a massive response, PakWeather stated, "Just say that you're a misogynist and hate to see hard-working women on top. Speaking of white privilege, what other white American artist is on the best-selling and most-streamed music charts list since the last five years? I bet you can't name one."

The account continued on to write, "Your rants won't change the fact that Taylor Swift is the most hard-working artist currently on the planet and has the best and most versatile pen game among all pop stars this century. Her versatility is not limited to colourful wigs, costumes and gimmicks like others. Her ability to successfully transition between musical styles stands as a testament to her mastery as a pop star this century."

Moving further along, PakWeather penned, "She has a remarkable talent for crafting deeply personal and relatable lyrics that resonate with her listeners and her songwriting prowess shines through her ability to create memorable melodies and poetic verses that touch the hearts of millions."

Concluding the argument that definitely exceeded 280 characters, the account stated, "Keep crying, your feral screeches are not going to stop her, she's the most successful female artist this century and pacing to become the third most successful and biggest artist in the history of the earth ever by the time she reaches 40."

Consequently, netizens were all invested in this unlikely feud. "PakWeather protecting mother, slay," wrote one user. Another user said, "PakWeather back with the Swiftie tweets. I love whoever manages this account. Can’t believe this keeps happening." Yet another user chimed in saying, "PakWeather said I am the storm."

However, other people pointed out the apparent mistake of not switching accounts before tweeting. "They forgot to switch accounts," bemoaned one user. Yet another tweep stated, "Never beating those unserious country allegations."
