Completion of PBS app ordered

KARACHI:

A high-level meeting of the Transport Department was convened with Sharjeel Inam Memon, the Minister of Information, Transport, and Mass Transit in the chair.

The minister ordered that the implementation of the intelligent transport system and e-card system should be expedited without delay.

During the meeting, Sharjeel emphasised the urgent completion of the People's Bus Service (PBS) app development. Secretary Transport Saleem Rajput, MD Sindh Mass Transit Authority, and other officials were present at the meeting.

Sharjeel issued orders for the immediate activation of the command and control system of the People's Bus Service.

He also took up the issue of shortage of charging stations for electric buses and stressed the need for their immediate resolution. He emphasised the urgency of arranging chargers as quickly as possible.

Sharjeel also emphasised to initiate bus services promptly on routes where they have not yet been implemented. He further stressed the immediate completion of the construction of stops for the People's Bus Service.
