Intermediate exams begin under strict vigil

Board high-ups pay surprise visit to many centres

KARACHI:

The annual exams of intermediate began on Tuesday under strict vigilance.

The first day of exams in morning and afternoon shifts included papers of Zoology Paper II, Commerce (Regular and Private), and Arts (Regular and Private) Islamic Education, Civics, and Ethics.

Professor Dr Saeeduddin, Chairman of the Higher Secondary Education Board Karachi, and Examinations Supervisor Zaheeruddin Bhutto, accompanied by senior teachers and media representatives, visited many examination centres to check the examination process and facilities for students.

During the visit they expressed satisfaction on the arrangements made at the centres.

The Board of Higher Education Karachi has formed 24 vigilance teams to ensure transparent and efficient conduct of the examinations.
