The Judicial Magistrate South has sent the accused Adnan Rana to jail in a case of misconduct with a lady and beating her in the elevator of a residential apartment building near Do Darya.
The court proceedings took place against the suspect, Adnan Rana, who was presented before the magistrate on a complaint filed by the victim's family.
Following the court's decision, Adnan Rana has been sent to jail on judicial remand, and a subsequent hearing has been scheduled for June 5. The court also instructed the Investigating Officer (IO) to submit the challan against the accused.
The case has been registered based on a complaint filed by Allah Jiwayo, the servant of Imran Abro. The incident leading to the case involved a confrontation between the accused, Adnan Rana, and Imran Abro, an employee and son of Aslam Abro, a Sindh Assembly member.
The altercation occurred in an apartment building elevator in Defence.
