Two men died in a road accident near Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Hattar Suraj Gully Road on Saturday.
Police said that 18-year-old Haseeb and 41-year-old Wilayat were on their way home on a motorcycle when a dumper rammed into their motorcycle, killing them on the spot.
The deceased were taken to a hospital in Kot Najibullah.
In a separate incident, several tourists were held hostage by eight armed robbers in Haripur.
Police said that the robbers thrashed the tourists, snatched their money and mobile phones and escaped while opening fire in the air.
