Twinning in white, celebrity couple Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas won hearts when they walked the coveted red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival in 2019. One thing that caught everyone’s attention, even at that time, was how the Only Human singer walked behind his wife holding an umbrella for her. The sweet gesture also won actor Sonya Hussyn’s heart and she’s bringing the “iconic” moment back to praise the couple – and particularly Nick for being a true gentleman!

Sonya, on Saturday, shared a post that praised Nick for letting Priyanka “shine like a star” on her Instagram Story. “Signs of a secure guy and a true gentleman,” she wrote and added clapping hands emoji for the singer. The Daadal actor was so impressed that, for her, Priyanka and Nick are “relationship goals.”

Nick and Priyanka’s love story is quite heartwarming. In a recent appearance on the talk show, Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Nick was asked about how he started dating Priyanka by sliding into her DMs. He joked that life before Priyanka is a distant memory and doesn't exist.

He went on to reveal how he slid into Priyanka’s DMs mentioning their common friends and interests. They began texting right away and the rest is history then. Priyanka Chopra, in a separate interview, shared her perspective on Nick's dating life before they met. She stated that she wasn't interested in looking at his past relationships but focused on their future together. She was impressed by Nick's music video and thought he deserved a date.

Nick and Priyanka first met at the 2017 Met Gala and tied the knot in 2018. They recently welcomed their daughter Malti Marie in January 2022.
