The police have registered two cases against six suspects, including a couple, on charges of extorting Rs1.3 million and blackmailing a property dealer and a poultry farm owner.

The victims had complained that the suspects had recorded their objectionable videos and pictures without their consent.

According to the police report, Mohammad Imran, a resident of Siddique Akbar Town, who is involved in the property business, filed a complaint stating that he had been lured to Tandlianwala around six months ago by Sabir Ali, Talib Hussain and his wife under the pretext of selling a house.

Once he reached the Hussainabad area, Imran was taken to a house where he was served tea. Shortly after consuming the tea, he lost consciousness. When he regained consciousness, he discovered that he had been stripped naked and objectionable pictures and videos of him recorded with a woman.

The complainant stated that the suspects had demanded Rs500,000 from him and threatened to release the videos on social media if he refused. The victim was blackmailed and coerced into paying a total of Rs1.1 million in intervals.

In a separate incident, Muhammad Sajid, a poultry dealer from Chak 441GB, reported that he had paid blackmailers who had trapped him by offering a car for sale.
