A raid was conducted at a house in the city and the alleged bomber and his accomplice were taken into custody.

In a separate incident, security personnel recovered a huge cache of weapons and ammunition from the city’s suburbs.

Sources said the recovered weapons included 100 rocket launchers, 200 mortars and anti-aircraft guns.
