Suspect, accomplices abduct daughters of deceased

A man and four other accomplices allegedly stabbed his ex-wife and her husband to death and abducted his four daughters in Badami Bagh on Sunday. Police arrested six suspects in the case.

According to officials, Yasir, the son of victim Yasmin alias Samina, came to her house at night to meet her. She opened the door and Yasir's father Zakir and four accomplices barged into the house.

They allegedly stabbed Yasmin and her husband Umram with knives. After slaughtering them, the suspects abducted four girls and fled the scene. The kidnapped girls were identified as Rubab, Fiza, Batool, Muneeba and Maham Noor.

As the case was reported to police, an alert was issued throughout the city. In Shafiqbad, a police team checked a minivan after finding it suspicious.

During a search, police recovered weapons from the vehicle and arrested two suspects, identified as Ali Raza and Amir. During interrogation, they confessed to their crime and revealed that the other four suspects, Zakir, Yasir, Ali and Javed, were hiding near Kot Abdul Malik. Police conducted a raid and also arrested them.

Zakir told police that Umram had contracted love marraige with his ex-wife Yasmin by trapping her. She was keeping his two daughters with her and did not allow him to meet them. He hatched a plan to murder his ex-wife and her husband.
