SBCA takes notices of harassment of builders
DG seeks explanation from assistant director and building inspector of Hyderabad Region
HYDERABAD:
The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has taken notice of the alleged harassment of builders by some officials and continuous absence of officers from Hyderabad office.
The office of the SBCA’s director general on Friday sought an explanation from Assistant Director (Hyderabad Region) Mumtaz Ali Lashari and Building Inspector (Hyderabad Region) Ameer Hussain Zardari.
On April 27, the SBCA DG also relieved BS-19 officer Muhammad Raqeeb from his post of Regional Director Hyderabad after frequent complaints of absence from duty which also surfaced during an official inspection on March 24.
