The Supreme Court has sought a progress report from the ECP regarding the release of funds by the government for the elections in Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.
According to Express News, the apex court has asked the commission for a progress report, in which it has been directed to inform about the receipt of funds or not regarding the elections of Punjab and K-P.
The Registrar’s Office of the top court has issued a notice to the Election Commission to submit the answer by morning.
