Twitter restricts search function to registered users
As observed by many, Twitter no longer allows anyone to use the search option without logging in the app.
Previously, if a user was not logged in, they could still use the search option and see some suggested tweets on the app's web version. However, the choice is no longer available.
Even if a user has received a link with search results, they won't be able to access it without logging into the app.
This move is similar to restricting free API. People frequently use Twitter to stay updated with current situations and conduct research.
Apart from that, Musk hinted at the return of Fleet on Twitter. Fleet is Twitter's version of stories where users post short messages or photos/videos that disappear after 24 hours.
