The Sindh Information and Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has filed a charge sheet against himself in his recent interview. In a statement issued in Hyderabad on Monday, Memon added that Khan's allegation against the former army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa for influencing his decision to dissolve the provincial assemblies of KPK and Punjab is a flagrant lie.
The information minister recalled that Khan had already launched a mud-slinging campaign several months ahead of giving orders to the chief ministers of K-P and Punjab to dissolve the assemblies. "Why would he [Khan] listen to Gen (retd) Bajwa when he was already publicly criticizing him?" he asked.
He blamed the PTI chairman for deceiving the people by making controversial and contradictory statements. "The people shouldn't trust him any more."
He accused Khan for being a 'planted product' of some countries which nurture some grudges against Pakistan. "Mere political difference shouldn't allow a political party to receive funds from Israel and India to run campaigns against the country's political parties and institutions."
